I'm interested in learning a new language, possibly spanish or french.
One that doesn't cost an arm and leg if possible but any ideas appreciated.

Hi, I use the Michel Thomas Spanish course and find it quite good. Got mine on-line cheap so check e-bay first as you may pick up a bargain. There are a number of free sites where you can learn from so just go to Google and type in the type of course but remember to put free at the beginning. The BBC also do many language courses.
Another one I sometimes use is the one at the link below and it's free.

Hi AlwaysConfused, was thinking of learning a bit of Greek myself but it's hard. Usually go somewhere Spanish speaking on hols but thought maybe Cyprus instead next year so thought that I would try to learn a bit. Think I may have to stick to the basic hello, thank you, please, yes and no. I am not that great with Spanish but it's easier than Greek.
