I have never had these and want to know what your opinions are on

Bombay Saphire Blue Gin

Bacardi Gold

Tequila (Gold/silver or normal?)

What are they like, what would you mix with them, hangover potential etc..

hangover potential the same as any other spirit!

What do they taste like? I've had normal gin and clear bacardi but not the types i've mentioned and i've never had tequila before.

Well has gin is gin its only what they add to it that makes it taste different.

I found bacardi gold smoother than the normal bacardi, and tequila tastes lovely with lemon and salt!!

bombay sapphire is a nice gin.... try it with bitter lemon as a change from tonic or with lime

Barcardi Gold is like the golden rums you get from the Caribbean. Much nicer than the clear stuff (which they wouldn`t touch is a bargepole there). You can make Dark n Stormy - Barcardi Gold, ginger beer and a dash of angostura bitter.

Tanqeray gin is nicer. The ordinary one not the no 10

Bombay Sapphire is lovely with cranberry juice, lots of crushed ice and fresh lime juice.

I think that unless you are a regular gin, Bacardi or tequila drinker then you wouldn't notice much/any taste difference between the ordinary versions of those spirits and the more expensive gold ones.
I love margaritas...tequila, Cointreau and lime juice...and can usually tell if tequila gold is used instead of the basic one. However, gin and white rum all taste the same to me as I rarely drink either of them.
The hangover potential is the same.
