I'm looking into trying to be seconded by my ward manager in the spring. What entry requirements would I need? Or is it based on your experience?

Do you mean that you are hoping to be seconded into pre-registration nursing training?

If so there is a stringent set of requirements, it has increased since nursing became all-degree - you will need 5 GCSEs as a minimum requirement, with maths and English as two of them.

If it's anything like our area, your Trust will be granted a fixed number of secondments for each cohort, so competition for pre-reg places can be tight and you will probably be interviewed both in your Trust and by the University.

I hope this is what you mean!
What is your current role, lozza?

I have a levels at B B B grades?
If you look at that link you will see you need to do a numeracy test anyway, but the Maths could be a problem - being able to undertake mathematical calculations is an important aspect of nursing. You need to discuss with your manager, there may be a way in your trust of funding you to study to pick up the maths skills. It depends on the topics you studied at A Level - that GSCE Maths (or equivalent) is vital.
which university would you go to?
