I think it's an interesting choice. do you have the qualifications to study OT?
Agree with Sara. Once you're qualified then you can go into a who range of areas. I used to work with an OT team attached to social services. Their work was mainly assessing/approving home adaptations for disabled service users. I've also worked alongside those who help people to learn and relearn life and work skills - everything from combing hair to cooking a meal or doing handicrafts.
Go for it.
Its brill. I am a retired OT and loved my career. Loads of possibilities both in the Uk and abroad, in both mental and physical health and in learning difficulty.
Its a best career choice i am also working as OT and certshelp promoter. OT required lot of responsibilities.
