Whilst we are remembering former A/B members howzeabout Mollykins ? I used to like her posts & reading about life at school & the goings on with the group she belonged to (Junior lifeguards ?? ) etc. I really do miss some of the old stalwarts who regularly appeared.

Yes, I miss some too. Some were hilarious.
so do i, what happened to Lofty Lottie,
I miss whiffey, such a witty funny guy.
Yogi - the DJ from the Brighton era seemed to be a lovely man, and quite the flirt.
Tinkerbell.....she found lurrrrve..and a nursey job...
I think Lottie is taking a break from AB.
Is he the man who sadly died a few years back cazzz?
yes, it was such a shame :(
I loved Whiffey. I used to talk to him on the phone. He even had a chat with my dad but couldn't really understand him :-)
I used to get him mixed up with gravy. But whiffey was funny and lovely, gravy was...errr...bizarre.
There's been so many lovely people who have gone from ab, and it does make you wonder where they have all gone.
I liked Indiesinger very much, he was (I think) a young student, and he taught us a lot on here.
Me too, I miss some for their wit and helpfulness, and some for the genuinely nice character they were on here.

One of my favourite was Mamjet, but s/he is not gone. :)
They've posted couple days ago. But, I guess they'd have to bite their tongue otherwise they'd be gone in no time.
I hope Tinks is still in lurve and the job is going well.

Only came across Whiffey on a few posts, but what I saw, I liked.
Tinks seems very happy and Mollykins appears settled too - there are quite a few I miss from the past.
My first post was responded to by Albags..didn't get to know him but he was so helpful. x
A few I miss are DrFilth, Postdog, Mollykins (I used to help with her Maths) and puzzleking123.
Gness, if you and Mrs. O were to win the lottery and leave, you both will be missed by me.
There's 1 or 2 I miss, especially one who was very witty. I won't say the name in the hope he comes back one day :-)
There seems to be a small crowd on here that have been posting for years. My thoughts as a newcomer are that the inconsistent moderation and cautious attitude to new posters frightens people. It seems some people can get away with saying what they like, bordering on rude and offensive, while others are jumped on , criticised and even suspended for far less. Sorry for hijacking your thread WR but this is perhaps why there seems to be quite a few regulars 'taking a break' from AB at the moment. I initially thought this site was a refreshing change from more aggressive forums, but after just a few weeks am coming to the conclusion its nothing, if not worse, as people are moderated not on what rule they are breaking , but who the person is thats breaking it.
