The rules have changed quite a lot:
and it is vital that if you are refused DLA you appeal
as the success rates are high - far to high
and thousands of people eligible don't.
C A Bs have a lot of practice in appeals and so give good advice
Jan 1957- this was undoubtedly true but the recent form I filled out,
had a terminal illness short-cut - too much bad publicity from the dead and dying I think.
Having had chemo myself and a spell on ITU with PCP,
I emerged somewhat slimmer and found on my doorstep a letter about DLA,
and thought Christ I dont believe this: they are going to find me fit to work !
They didnt in the end. I am sorry that mr jan 1957's final days were so distressing for you
