I am able to use my Tesco clubcard tokens and get this Soda Stream for nothing http:// www.tes co.com/ direct/ sodastr eam-gen esis-dr inksmak er-chil ly-red/ 211-596 8.prd?s kuId=21 1-5968& amp;fro mRV=tru e
I currently drink 2/3 600ml bottles of Pepsi Max (sometimes Seven-up diet) each day. Each bottle costs about £1.15. I don't like the big bottles. I am fed up lugging the bottles home and they take up a shelf in the fridge (got about 30 bottles at present) and they take up the best part of a bin bag each week.
Question
How much £££ do the soda streams to 'run' per week or month? There is no point in me using my tokens on something that is going to cost a fortune to run.
Thanks for any help - off to play with my Kindle Fire but will be back later.

We bought the soda stream, the bottles, the gas, the concentrate, and to be honest, I wish I hadn't bothered.
I ended up giving it away to a charity shop, it was more trouble than it was worth. Having said that, make your own mind up and don't be swayed by our experience.

From what both of you have said it probably isn't really going to save money. I have a habit of buying 'gadgets' and have a cupboard of them. I used the smoothie maker twice - much too fiddly to clean.
I will keep my tokens and buy something later. Meantime I will try chopping up the plastic bottles and see if that helps.

From Sodastream website.
