i've applied for a new job and i had an email from them saying i have passed the first sift, and they'd like me to do an online assessment. It takes 1.5 hours, contains 3 tests and cannot be stopped once started (ie the clock starts ticking and you cant stop or pause it)
does anyone have any experience of this type of thing? Obviously i want to do my best, but i'm not sure how much preparation i ought to be putting in, or even if i should get someone to help me lol - i heard quite quickly so i was wondering if it's something they do at the very beginning or if passing the first sift is a good indication (ie i don't want to put in loads of effort if i've got no hope anyway)

Have u tried googling 'name of company' online assessment examples? I just tried the latter and there are quite a few.
It depends on whether they are aptitude ed tests (maybe numeracy, verbal reasoning and IT), where practising them can help, or phsychometric tests (the sort where they give you 5 statements about you and ask you to say which is most like you and which is least like you)- in my experience it's better to just do it without thinking too deeply
