Construction Workers Blacklist
1 Answers
It is, as we always knew, those of us employed in the construction industry that there was a blacklist. A blacklist held by a firm called The Consulting Association.
Big employers Balfour Beatty, Laing ORourk, MacAlpine amongst loads of others, could, for a fee access a the list of individual workers, some of them on the list because they only voiced health and safety concerns on construction sites. Or were union members.
If you think you were denied work and were on the list there is steps to take listed on The Unite web site.
