Letting Our Lodge As A Respite Holiday, Are There Any Agencies Out There?

We are looking at possibly letting our lodge for respite holidays for the elderly or disabled and providing around the clock care and transport for those that require it but I would like to go through an agency as I think advertising this service nation wide would not be very easy and probably quite costly. Does anybody know of such an agency?

I have searched but get bogged down by all the care homes advertising a similar service.

Thanks Tilly, good idea!
or contact your local social services - be careful to phrase it so that they dont think you are asking them to advertise your services
Are there any national events that you could attend which are relevant to this area of work? Handing out leaflets, manning a stand etc

Facebook, if used properly and professionally, could be a powerful tool.

Wolf, good idea, Whilst I use Facebook, I dont really understand the intricacies of "pages" and "Groups" etc, I done one for the lodge and it is a real mess as you can See here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/bwlchgwynlodge/

If any mods think that I am advertising then please feel free to delete this post.
RATTER I googled "travel agents for disabled" and came up with loads of hits, have you tried that?

What a lovely thought, it's so nice that there are people like you. I can't be of any help but very good luck with it. Hope there aren't too many obstacles put in your way.
your local business directory might help
I think you could put more photos of your environs on your facebook page. Most city dwellers would be utterly seduced by that that part of Wales.
I have a close friend from Uni days whose sis (now retired) was Senior Legal Counsel of Help the Aged....there was someone on here who knew her, for love of money I can't remember who it was.

Anyway, if you are interested, you could always send me an e-mail on [email protected] and then I could switch it over to my main account and go through my friend to his sister - he is also a lawyer. Can't guarantee that it will work though.

Don't let to the likes of Sqad, i.e Doctors (not accusing Sqad though) - in St Ives, they had the reputation of being the dirtiest b-s of all when it came to letting - probably as they have to be so clean for the rest of the year.....
You could try linking up with these -

Thanks people, I will be doing some research into some of those suggestions.
friends of mine had a lodge in Dunoon some years back, I can't remember how/who they established a web-site, with interior and exterior photos, so when holiday cottages for let in Argyll (for example) was searched on tinterweb, theirs also showed in the results section.
