More On Immigration
I have taught many Eastern Europeans English. A word of advice to new ones from the experience of people who are here. It is not just the wages that are high here, the costs are too! Rents, heating, food are a lot more expensive than at home. You will be offered the basic wage, so the only way to live is to crowd into cheap accommodation. It comes a a shock.
I taught some Poles who had 21 people sharing a 3 storey house with no living room (turned into two bedrooms), one kitchen and one bathroom! They were thrilled when the landlord was ordered to put a bathroom on each floor.
They worked two and here jobs a day and had another job for their day off. They were all hoping to make enough money to start up businesses back home. Most went home disillusioned with just a little money.

And if they live 21 to a house, and pay no tax, and get free health care then you can understand why they come here.
I wonder how many of these politicians who are so happy with the EU would leave their front door open and allow anyone to come and live in their house.
None of course, which makes this "no borders" situation, with no limit on numbers coming in, so stupid.
The sooner the EU implodes on itself the better as far as I am concerned.

Just looked up the table for population density per square mile and am horrified that we are placed 51st.
