Complete Tobacco Ban

Hello Guys,
I have to write an essay about Effects (positive and negative) of complete tobacco ban in UK, Could anyone please hep me in this,like, I am not sure what headings should be there and what areas should I cover.
It is my first time writing a public health essay so I am a bit confused and don't know the format of essay. so please help me in simplifying my research. and if anyone has got any material that can be help,please do share.

Yeah why not ban tobacco. The "war" on illegal drugs has been such a resounding success.

Wherever you are studying, you shouldn't be asking us about layout etc - this should all be available through your tutor and/or student support.

You need to know what references to supply and in what format you should list them at the end - different educational establishments have very different rulings about referencing.

My first thought is - if tobacco were banned, it would go underground onto the black market - and indeed whether such a ban is feasible, since tobacco brings a huge amount to the UK economy in taxes.

I would want to know where and from who the government would raise £13bn in lost tobacco taxes? As for Public Health.... the most recent figure I have heard quoted for costs to the NHS for smoking related illness was £2.7bn on BBC news just a few weeks ago. Ban smoking and save the NHS £2.7bn but whatever the government spend the remaining tobacco taxes on will surely be affected? Put it this way... that £10bn surplus would build 20 hospitals like the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham (Quoted cost £500m)

My thought exactly boxy, smugglers will bring tobacco into the country somehow, it would go underground. If something is banned you can be sure there would be some method in place to get it.

Smokers save the NHS money. Imagine if everyone lived to claim 40 years of pension and the NHS treatments associated with old age.
