Career and scope

I am Master in Chemical Engg but couldnt find a job in the field for a year.I am now working in a call centre related to finance aspects.Where am I really going?.Will I get back to the chosed field or is it all just a dream

depending on where you are, and if your willing to travel, chemical engineers can make a killing in the oil industry. very competetive though. try oil companies websites, such as bp etc. i believe the starting salary for an eng grad with bp is around 27k...
