this will depend on the country you are in. I assume you are in the UK. First you need a degree in the disapine you want to teach - then a PGCE. At the moment there are a few exceptions, ie people with a PhD teaching without the PGCE, but as the PGCE is one year and the PhD 3(min) then if you know you want to teach do the PGCE. If you want to teach science best to do three sciences and maths at 'a' level before doing a degree in one of them. My recomendation would be to do chemisrty as this will give you a good grounding for both physics and biol than either the others would in chemistry.

You need a degree in the subject you want to teach, and also a teaching qualification of some kind- so, a PGCE which is one year, as well as a 3 year BA or BSc.

I would look far broader though. When you have spent your entire life at school, you only see the job that is in front of you- teaching. There are MANY jobs in the science field, and less in music, since it is hard to break into without becoming a teacher.

hey im nt that sure what i want to do either as im only in year 9 to but i think you should choose your learning style and choose what you enjoy doing and then choose what you want to do ok x x x
