I Am Fuming.......

Carers arrived late as per usual. When they arrive I usually nip out for a fag. When I came in I heard one carer saying to Mic " Do you think I want to be here cleaning you now roll over" I was about to enter the room when she said you people make me sick, you get everything for nothing and expect total care from the likes of me on a low wage. At this point I did enter the room. I told her I had two comments to make Mic's care was costing over £1000 a month. If she had a problem with her pay to see her employer. Second point GET OUT.

My usual cause of action is to speak to the person involved. I am not one to report anyone, in this case I will make an exception. I now feel that when the carers come I must stay with them so no more nipping out for a fag.

For the sake of others I think you must report her Jeza. The whole point of having carers is to give you a little break so you can enjoy the odd fag..... It's a lot of money to be paying a month if you don't get any respite..
