Birdie, // [i]You see, in Islam, the word "peace" doesn't mean what you and I and the vast majority of rational non-muslim people think it means. In Islam, "peace" means something else; it means the total domination of Islam over the entire world with unquestioning adherence to Sharia law[i]

I don't know from where you gather your information, I suspect it's from one of the many anti-Islamic websites you choose to frequent, but 'peace' and 'peace-making' in Arabic means just what it means in English. Sulh, which is used in the Quran, is also the root of the word islah denoting development and improvement. This term is used to refer to peacemaking. Peacemakers are agents of good and those who breach it are elements of corruption and sin. It is therefore observed that peace and peacemaking are seen in Islamic tradition as part and parcel of human development. In Islam peace and making peace are seen as Godly acts worthy of praise and reward.
As most of your posts are predicated on causing division and misunderstanding, the world would be a far better place, if attempting to achieve it was an aspiration for you, and indeed for us all.
