Replacing Plastic Roofing.
Father built a carport many, many years ago (he has been dead 29 years).
Mother had the roofing replaced 2 years ago but was not happy with work. They replaced it with cheap alternative.
Roof has come off and she needs it replacing.
So what we are after is good quality plastic roofing, wave effect and not too see through as when replaced he put see through roofing which made car port very hot.

You could go for translucent rather than clear (doesn't let so much light in - and looks classier too.
This is a good one.......

It's a New Zealand product. Maybe they can tell you if it's available here.

Our house had a corrugated plastic sheet roof, on the garage extension at the side of the house, when we moved in 32 years ago. A short time after moving in we were watching the mother & father of a hail storm out the lounge window.
I went into the kitchen and heard the storm much louder. I went into the extension and the roof had been completely destroyed. I replaced it with the thickest sheets I could get. About four years after it had gone completely opaque I replaced it all with twin wall polycarbonate roof sheets like these:-
