World Book Day Kid Banned

Did you see?

A wee boy went dressed as christian grey from 50 shades of grey and was banned from the world book day.

Didnt know what to think?? Tongue in cheek from the mother but i suspect the kid probobly wanted to go as someone he actually knows?! A character?!

Possibly tongue-in-cheek from his mother but, as I've had to fight hard to prevent a mother sending a stripogram into a school classroom to celebrate her son's 15th birthday, who knows? There are some very odd parents about!

I thought the idea of WBD for the kids was for them to dress up as characters from books they'd actually read? I'm seriously impressed if that kid managed to get to the end of 50SoG as I certainly couldn't, not without laughing anyway.

I think they forgot about world book day and hunted through the wardrobes at the last minute for inspiration. The pother found an oversize suit and jokingly said 'Go as Mr Grey from the book', which the child agreed to. The kid is a known trouble maker and the school took umbrage against their sense of humour. (my guess, not fact!)
