Accountants/tax Advisers - Extra Services With Member Of The Bar/solicitor?

Hi all

If a tax adviser working for a firm of accountants is also a member of the bar, what additional services could they offer which they could not otherwise?

As the two are different professions I do not see what advantage there could be. A tax adviser would need to be fully conversant with tax law in any case just to do their job. A member of the Bar would be qualified in law only not accountancy as well.

sounds like an AAT question from one of their courses
I am doing bk keeping , and accountancy and it has that zingy ring

read the focus notes - you will find two lists somewhere and need to read both compare and contrast etc

oh a few days a go I had

what services do banks offer that building societies dont ?
( aha trick q since building societies are now banky things )

and the answer was mortgage advice - overdrafts and something else

I find these banking finance questions less than riveting
