As my title to the question is....can anyone advise me on benefits i may be entitled to during my possible short term unemployment. At the moment i get working tax and child tax credits and child benefit once monthly,

Can anyone give me some sound advice, please?

You need to go to your local Social Services office. You should find them very helpful and they will have all the information you need.

You need to contact your IVA supervisor asap. They will need to be kept up to date with what's happening as well.
