It seems that there's never any real agreement about what makes a good c.v. When I was unemployed, one job advisor described the way I'd presented my c.v. as 'outstanding' and sought my permission to show it to other job seekers. That was shortly after one of his fellow advisors (who clearly believed in "calling a spade a spade") described exactly the same c.v.as 'utter rubbish' and 'not worth the paper that it was written on'!
However I'll have a crack at this anyway:
"For the past twenty years I have been a home-maker who has been proactive in seeking out, and adopting, self-sufficiency methods. For example, I helped to convert our large garden into a smallholding which now provides most of the food for our home, which I then prepare or preserve.
This experience has helped me to develop self-confidence in tackling new and challenging tasks, together with planning and time-management skills and the ability to overcome problems".
