working in Dubai

I recently watched a tv show regarding construction in dubai i am a plumber and fancy going over does anyone have any idea where to start ringing round for such a job.thanks in advance ,ian the plumber

I guess one way would be to phone the Human Resources Departments of some of the major constuction engineers, Costain, Wimpey, etc and enquire if they are doing any work out there and need plumbing staff. Another way would be to look at the Financial Times or the business sections of The Times or Daily Telegraph to read about any big building contracts that have been awarded out there to Engineering consortiums, etc. . Then ring up their HR Departments or ask for the Project Manager and see if that produces any leads. Or ring up their consulate in this country and speak to anybody responsible for assisting with construction contracts in Dubai.
