The answer is "it depends". Is it for PGCE or other teaching qualification- if so employer's will not really mind which of these two respected establishments you went to. Relevant factors for you may include travelling costs, whether you want city -centre living or a more rural setting, etc

There's nothing to separate them in the league tables (well, there is....two places.....but that's nothing). Visit them both and see which feels the best.

I got a place now for music at Edge Hill and at MMU for photography, I would really like to study music but I am scared to loose the oportunity to study at mmu as I have heard that it is very hard to get an offer from them and that is well respected university for employers.

I would love to be performer, I know it's tough so I thought I would choose photography and maybe become commercial photographer but now at that close date it really draws me to study music

I heard from a lot of people that is very hard to get an offer from mmu so I dont want to loose that oportunity, on the other hand I lovve music. It's hard choice

If you'd rather do Music then go for that and think of the positive (you have gained a place) rather than dwelling on the opportunity you are losing

With which subject do you realistically think you might make a career?
Both are difficult to progress in if you don't have a fair degree of talent.

All the time I was thinking that photography is safer choice. I thought that I will be studing photography meanwhile attend auditions for music and learn on my own. Now I am thinking that if I don't choose music now, I will have a very small chance to make carrier in music and that I will never learn music the same as in univeristy.

They are outside the top 50 universities in the league tables and are regarded by some employers as the equivalent of polytechnics/colleges rather than universities (such as Manchester Univ, Durham, Oxford...), but for subjects like Music and Photography employers may have different views. Ideally I would ask a potential employer, but you are probably not in such a position yet- but I doubt there is much difference between them.
I'd do the one you enjoy most and can see a career in

Thank you for help, I have been learning photography at college, and music only on my own so I know that I might have get better grades in photography than music, becouse I know a bit how the units are graded and how to get better grades. When it comes to music I am scared aswell that becouse I don't really know the structure of grading, it might be harder for me to get the good grades. Do you think it might better to get a higher BA degree in better uni and then do for example postgraduate course in music?

How have Edge Hill offered you a place if you've learnt music on your own? Have you acheived a 'grade' by self learning as I assume a 'grade' (at least 7 I would have thought) would be required for an offer to be made?
