Omg, This Beautiful Performance Made Me Cry!!

I’m sure many of you have seen this clip - it’s got the internet going crazy but thought I would post it for anyone who missed it.

On “France has got talent” two hot gay acrobats performed a routine to the song hallelujah. The meaning behind the routine was anti-homophobia. It was literally one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen, and it culminated with the two acrobats kissing. At this point I had tears running down my eyes – I don’t know why it was just so powerful and validating. It showed that there are still people who do care in this ever colder world.

The judges loved it. Watch for yourself and maybe whilst you are watching think to yourself is there some small action that you can carry out in your daily life that will challenge homophobia. Maybe something as simple as showing a bit of friendliness or support to an LGBTQ+ neighbour or co-worker. The LGBTQ+ community need straight allies.

Don't know why the internet is going crazy. There was nothing exceptional in what they did. Just wish they had worn dark coloured trunks. They looked naked.

So they're very good acrobats. That's it. What has it to do with homophobia? I have several very good single-sex-partnered friends and they don't make a fuss or feel the need to show off - and nor does anyone else feel the need to posture.

I think the outfits are deliberately made to look the way they do - part of what I took from this performance is that gay people don't need to hide or be ashamed any more.

The outfits looked cheap and didn't do anything to enhance their figures or performance. Looked like they were wearing their underwear.

I don't think their figures needed any enhancing andres - I would die to have legs half as muscular as either of theirs.

That is nearly always the case with "heterosexual" dances too.
Tim, I think it has been a long while since it was supposed to be hidden. Have some confidence in yourself- this could well be the worst place to ask these questions. But, in general, carry on... x

They haven't since 1967. Haven't you seen the Gay pride marches?
Nothing different in their display of gymnastics that a hetrosexual pair of men could not perform imho. The kiss at the end was not necessary. Just reminded me of this.

I suppose it's not for everyone but very uplifting and powerful for so many of us who have faced discrimination and hatred. So many of us who have struggled to be who we really are.

Also, and I don't mean to be crude her but if you pause the video with 55 seconds remaining you can tell the acrobat bending over has an absolutely enormous package!!
