Sallaried Contracts, How Much Can They Expect?
29 Answers
I am talking to a potential employer and they seem to want to put me on a salaried contract. Now I don't mind being flexible but are there any limits to what hours they can expect me to work?

I am just completing one distance learning course and considering it was produced by a university it was hopeless with colleagues doing similar courses also saying they had difficulty. To do what I do you need a full degree ideally. I have seen job advert after job advert offering £25k but expecting degrees and quite a wealth of knowledge and experience from what would be someone just out of university. Clearly the majority of engineering job descriptions are not written by people that live in the real world.
Well that will be in tomorrows meeting with them.
What I what to achieve is a move that gains some pay into a better more organised working environment with people that have half an idea of what they actually want me to do. this place seems to fit all of that but I don't want to just get out of where I am for the sake of it.
