are you sure its a virus and just not at the end of its spec and/or in need of a good clearout.
Google Norton Power Eraser - its free - and will identify / clean almost any virus.
^^^ I suspect, CAC, that 35artillery38 might be referring to getting slow internet access due to heavy usage of the internet in his area during the Covid-19 lockdown, rather than to a computer virus.

Unfortunately, unless the relevant website offers a 'save for later' option, I don't think that it will be possible to save the form data for completion later on.

Thanks to you both, you are partly correct BC.The reason for the slowness is not totally the internet but the amount of applicants for this bank a/c coupled with the lack of staff due to the virus.
Which bank?

NS&I
I've hunted in all of the places that I can think of on the NS&I website (and tried a few site-specific Google searches) to try to see if there's any information about saving form data hidden away somewhere but, regrettably, there doesn't seem to be any way to do it.

However, going as far as I could get without actually opening an account, I found that there appears to be no queue to use the site at the moment anyway, so perhaps you might be able to get everything done within the 10-minute time limit if you try again now?

Alternatively, if your body clock (and/or work schedule) will allow it, why not try at, say, 3am? I'm naturally fairly nocturnal and I often find that the very early hours of the morning are the best times for accessing normally-busy websites.

Thanks for trying BC,I wish that I'd opened your reply sooner.Because of the Covid-19 they are short staffed and have had to reduce their staff and working hours to 7,30 am--10.00pm. I've tried several times to-day perhaps I'll try late to-morrow.
I am not sure why staffing should affect a function of their website? I can get that processing an application once it is submitted will (might) need human intervention, but not the application itself?
