Well too we shall be celebrating even tho we are tier 4. We shall be celebrating that we are alive, healthy and blessed to live in uk. Seriously ...other countries have it far worse during covid

Good attitude to have Eve, we will be quietly enjoying each other's company , with a Chinese and a bottle of wine , maybe some background classical music too

I was thinking more of the economic suffering - people in other countries are genuinely beginning to starve. In UK we have a gov that has tried to support us with furloughs, (even though I know future generations will pay the brunt tax wise) We have the NHS, (overburdened though it may me)

not to mention most poorer countries will not get the vaccine....or at least a very low percentage will get it if at all

ummm - husb always wants to celebrate. Me, if im honest, ive always found NYE a bit pensive. I always have looked back on the year thinking of things I could've / should've done etc....but this year we will celebrate being alive n employed etc when many others are not so lucky

I shall be snuggling up with OH, watching a movie and drinking some fizz. I'm only doing a cheese board with crackers and bread as I don't want anything too heavy.

Last New Year's Eve I was flying over Germany at midnight (their time) Someone came running down the aircraft and said "Have you seen the fireworks"? I looked out of the window and saw thousands of sparkly lights. It was like looking into the sky and seeing a sky full of stars. I have never seen anything like it. It magical
