Usage Fees/buy-out for child model

Hey, help needed... there is a good chance my toddler will be used for nappy packaging which will go world wide, any idea what the usage fee/buy-out fee might be for such usage of the photos?..is there anyone whose child has done any similar campaigns or anyone in the industry who is willing to discuss, please help..I just want to know what to expert so I can be confident my toddler is getting the going rate..and not being done in..cheers.

I am no expert but I think the going rates are around �250 for a shoot. I know someone who did some modelling and they got average �250 per day.

I doubt they will rip you off. The only agencies that are ripping people off is the ones that charge you a fee to go on their books but never give you any work.

I think you have to negotiate travel fees into the deal as well, so if you are travelling from i.e Birmingham to London, try and get them to pay for that on top.

The more work you get th bigger the kids portfolio will build up so get some of the pictures to build their portfolio up.

If the job is going to be that big I would sign with an agent to ensure you are getting the best deal.
