Are any other ABers trying to learn a language with Duolingo? Any of you tried and gave up or even better feel it was really worthwhile? I'm on my 74 day Spanish streak but not sure how I'm really getting on.
I'm also learning Spanish on DL. My tip - always read the tips that accompany the lesson. When you click on the circle that opens up each level, you'll see "tips". Did it for years before giving up. I don't think you can really get into a foreign language without getting immersed in it. Solo tests start to get routine and don't actually get you where you need to be. Good as an intro but I'd advise not using it alone for more than, say, a year.
