I have been offered to volunteer as a warehouse assistant at 2 of these charity shops so I'm undecided in which one would be best to volunteer for

Every individual charity shop is different. There is no way anyone can sensibly answer your question.

Pick the one that will be easiest to travel to and give yourself a few months. If you aren't enjoying your work try the other one.

As you say you are currently working and as you like to have Saturdays free, when would you be available to volunteer?

They are both worthy charities. I would base on salary, benefits, conditions, and which is best for you (e.g. 10 miles away and nights is not as good as 1.5 miles away and days).
