I work at a domestic violence shelter, I've been there for a month now and it's something I really love doing. The people at my job found out that I was doing something that they don't approve of and now everyone even the guest give me the cold shoulder, exclude me , are short with me ect;. The ppl in the office not only shared it amongst themselves they also told the guest at our shelter. It's a non profit shelter and I've wanted to report them for how they are behaving, but I like my job and don't want to jeopardize losing it. How should I handle my situation?

Keep quiet then.
If what you did wasn't illegal and doesn't impact on your job - hold your head up and own it. If it's mentioned just say 'so what?' and get on with your job.
Why would you do something they don't approve of?
What did they find out about?
Tell us what you did that they didnt approve of exactly?
