He appears to have a negative attitude and had no right to talk to you like that, if you enjoyed working there it makes his comment even more odd.

He means you were not suitable for the job for some reason. Did you know what the required of you before you applied for it? Had you read up on what you were going to be doing? Did you have to ask for help in decision making and need help in understanding what you were meant to be doing.
Why not apply for a sales assistant in a clothes shop but remember in whatever job you do you will have a time schedule to work to. You will have to work your social life around your work and not the other way round

How many jobs have you had, Abbeylee, since leaving school and what is the longest you have stayed in one of them? It takes time to learn the ins and outs of a new workplace and a new job and I wonder if you expect too much too soon then get disillusioned if you feel you are not up to the job and maybe Management notice this?
