Do I Tell My Friends Now About My New Job?

I been in my new job for a month now and been keeping it from people to make sure I've settled I'm first.

Do they never ask you how work is going? The longer you leave it the more odd it will look when you do tell them

olk you know your friends better than what I do... just seems easier to tell them than be evasive or lie if they ask questions

Unless you have a very good memory and can maintain a lie, it's better to tell the truth.

I'm very glad that you feel settled in the Care Home, Abby.  I had a feeling that it might suit you.

I can't understand why you have been keeping it from people, unless it is that you thought that they would say something on the lines  of 'Oh, Yeh, another job!'   If that is the case - think about your choice of friends.

What  do you tell them? - You tell them the  truth of course, unless I've missed something about why you left your last job. 

Remember the old saying: 'Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we  practise todeceive.'  Much easier to be straightforward.

Tell them after 40 days, if they ask why you left it so long tell them it's because a really wise guy on Answerbank recommended it ;-)

They must know what you are like Abbey, so just tell them you were waiting to see if you were going to like it there before telling them.
