What Shall I Do About This Job?

Yesterday I got a txt from my job at the care home to say there is no point doing 3 hours per week so will send my p45 and next week wages. Think I might have told you this but they reduced my hours from 30 to 9 hours per week I'm now in a cleaning job cleaning houses 21 hours per was longer Monday-Wednesday but I'm not sure about so hoping to do warehouse work.I regret my decision now to change my days in the care home. I've not had a good day today as supervisor giving me a hard time saying I haven't touched things when I've tried to clean them and it's bad cleaning she find it hard to believe I was a cleaner . They reckon I'm not listening but concentration is my weekness

Mainly kitchen and bathroom I'm worried they will get rid of me.

As you have difficulty concentrating can you ask your supervisor to write you a check/to do list so you can tick when you complete each task

Bathrooms have to be scrupulously clean, especially the bath and taps and shower screen. Kitchen surfaces have to be cleared completely of grease

Toilet seats and bowls must be completely clean and clear of any signs of human ......you know  what

Example.

kitchen  wash up, put dishes etc away, clean all surfaces, clean oven and stove, take out rubbish. Mop floor

bathroom clean toilet lift seat, clean bath/shower, clean basin, take out rubbish, mop floor

Abbey, was your lack of concentration, your 'not listening' etc a problem when you did all those years in McDonalds?  You've really struggled with both of the recent cleaning jobs, yet you had so much previous experience...

Abbey, the care home are not going to rehire you. You have to let it go.

Thanks, Abbey. When most people start a new job, they go all out to impress, show that they can do what needs to be done - and I thought your experience would help there and that you'd be able to cope. Maybe you should check out warehouse jobs again, see what (if anything) is available.
