Diversity is the existence of many unique individuals in the workplace, marketplace and community. A mixture of race, age, sex etc.

Also a mix of disabilities, sexual preference, religion/beliefs, nationality etc, etc.

Many firms are now moving to Equality and Diversity rather than equal ops, which is treating everyone equally and allowing everyone the same opportunities or access to services.
