Perhaps you need to work smarter rather than faster, Abbey.

Try pausing for breath occasionally when typing, abbey. Punctuation would make it easier to follow.

I feel like if I go to fast I miss something but even my colleuge said to me 2 hours is not alot of time.

Abbey, didn't you tell us recently that a boss had said the store had never looked so clean (or good or something) until you started? You might just have to put up with the not-so-great time at work until you find another job - though that's not proving to be very easy either.

Question Author

Yes when I started I been there 9 months. No it's not and the one I'm getting interviews for are not great.

Thanks, Abbey. It seems odd that it's been 2 hour shifts for all this time and only now is it causing problems. Maybe you've 'switched off' a little bit now that you are planning to leave?

Question Author

I didn't feel like I changed they way I clean.

Maybe you didn't, Abbey - but I think your confidence took a bit of a knock when the holiday relief guy seemed good, efficient etc?

You haven't been there 9 months!!
you started mid April that's 6 months.

Another boss in another job has an issue with you, do you see a pattern forming here?

Yes it must have been deflating to be told you've been holding/using the cloth incorrectly after all this time

Question Author

I worked aswell as the laundry for abit until a full time job came up.

Only because my colleuge took upon himself to do cleaning when I was off as no one was doing it so the deputy manager told him tp show me to do it that way.

You worked in the laundry because they found you a job as you could clean houses properly.

In your absence someone did a better job than you, what does that tell you?

Oh by the way, it's colleague!!

Question Author

So have other colleagues who work there have cleaned after the cleaner before me left.

Beg your pardon?

Question Author

Before I started they didn't have a cleaner for months.

Abbey, didn't you get put in the laundry because the cleaning firm felt you weren't doing well with the ...cleaning?

Abbey, I answered you honestly and, I thought, helpfully.

Abbey, in all of your 31? years, have you never helped clean your parents' house or even took note of how your mother cleaned it -
it's not the most difficult job on Earth 😊

Question Author

Yes bur now been cleaning at selco for 6 months.
