What would be the best clothes to wear for a interview as a store detective?

you should wear a shirt and a tie to any interview, doesnt have to be a suit. good luck with the interview. I am job hunting as I am tired of mine

always smart unless told otherwise - just started working somehwre with casual dress but all my interviews here (3) i wore a suit, shirt and tie - don't ruin any chance of a job with something so trivial !

I would try wearing a suit black preferably or just black trouser, shirt and tie
