What's the best website to advertise yourself if you're looking for a new job?

I mnight be about to be made redundant, and I'd like to make contact with as many potential employers as possible.

I don't know how good they are, but the following might be worth a try:

www.monster.co.uk

http://www.fish4.co.uk/iad/jobs

www.totaljobs.com

and if you're in Scotland, www.s1jobs.com

Good luck!

Identifying an agency that finds employment for people in your particular field may be a better bet. Get trade magazines for your industry and have a look amongst the situations vacant section. There may be adverts from agencies advertising their current vacancies. You can send them your CV and if they are up to the job will forward your CV to companies that come to them looking for employees.
if your in scotland i agree s1 jobs or scotcareers ive just been made redundant in dec i would say get onto it now you have no idea how hard it is and i have a few different skills best of luck!
www.surreylocaljobs.co.uk if you live in or around surrey (Kingston, Sutton, Croydon etc etc)
You could also try http://www.tiptopjob.com - that covers over 35 different industries and has loads of jobs!
