Friends Reunited - suspect personal profiles

Has anyone else noticed on 'Friends Reunited', all the people with poorly paid, humble or menial jobs insist on stating that their job/life is "great" and that they're "so happy" on their personal profiles, whilst all the people with genuinely good careers don't say anything at all. Who are they trying to kid?

I know what you mean, I have read about a few people that their careers where more than what I know really happened. Quite sad really isn`t it.

i leave no profile.

when i did and said i worked in films, i got a million replies from 'friends' who just had to conatct me - wow, amazing, how are you etc etc - and then asked me to get them a job!

thanks guys! i was going to mention that i'd won �10 million on the lottery in my profile, i've decided not to. ( if tracey with the big assets from my old class reads this i'm still single & need cheering up! )

I dont put my profile on friends reunited. When I used to log in, it was purely out of interest, to see if I could remember half the people who were on there!

But some of the people (who I remembered!) did put their profiles on, and were living in Australia or elsewhere, and doing really well for themselves.

Made me a bit green, but happy.

I found that the people with the good careers were the ones to tell others how well they had done. Though some had a certain smugness about them.

But each to his own. Just makes your own life look a bit dull in comparison :(

One of my boys posted that - after a career in adult movies in germany he was now working as a refuse disposal expert back in britain... Not quite true! He's only ever visted Berlin (for 2 days!) and is now working with a large British/Scottish company and is earning in excess of �50K per year at the age of 26. He always did have a weird sense of humour.
