I would be grateful if someone could point me in the direction of a website that could explain this to me or define for me what this actually means. I'm being harassed at work but someone said that if I leave work under these circumstances that I could use this as a reason - possibly even be compensated. Thanks in advance.

Constructive dismisal is where the conditions at work are made intolerable in order to make the victim leave. This is sometimes used to avoid paying redundancy or to get rid of someone who's face doesn't fit but the job is not redundant.

What sort of harrasment? do you get the impression that you are not wanted at work?

Suggest you look at www.acas.org.uk or contact a law centre. A CAB should be able to give you details of your nearest Law Centre.
