Appeal questions
6 Answers
Hi, all, think this should be in jobs and careers, but think I may get more response here. And this will seem like a stupid, last minute question. But I have an appeal hearing tomorrow, re my daughter 6th form college application. I am very bad at expressing myself, especially infront of very educated people! But am dreading any questions they ask. That I may freeze. Any hints or advice appreciated. ASAP!

If u r not sure, always ask them to clarify what they have said. If u dont understand the question, say so. Take notes during the interview, it can ensure that people interviewing you will not try to bs u as anything they say might come back on them. It also allows u to refer back to previous questions and answers u have given, also buys u thinking time.
These are just normal people like yourself, treat them as if you had met them at the supermarket or whatever. I'm sure they would want you to relax but if you can't, imagine them sitting there with no clothes on, this immediately puts you in a superior position!!! Be prepared and once you get started you'll be fine.
