The problem you face is that as a family member you don't feel able to bring it up. It's possible that your employer doesn't actually realise what extra work you are doing, but more likely is using your family conections as a way of exploiting both the situation and you for his/her own ends.
Although a delicate situation you should make your feelings clear. If you are unhappy with the response then by all means seek alternative employment. Don't let yourself be brow beaten by accusations of family disloyalty, you do a job for which you want paying. It's a reasonable enough request.
