Spreadsheet Analysis

Hi all, am soon to become a father and am toying with the idea of working from home. One of my strengths is working with spreadsheets, data analysis, producing charts etc. Do you think this is something that could be done freelance or would there be companies out there who would benefit from my skills and be able to give me a few hours work a week whilst working from home? Any thoughts?, many thanks.

Hi, you might be able to help me with excel charts and graphs from spreads - you could get a lot of work in I think, especially once you get a marketing plan effective - all sales managers would want it for meetings.

Another way of earning a living working from home might to be a computer tutor. There are probably lots of people out there who are computer illiterate and who might appreciate some one-to-one tutoring to help them master some of these basics.
Alternatively, if you live in an area where there are lots small businesses who can't afford to employ lots of computer experts, there may be some freelance work for you. You could check out with some employment agencies what the job prospects are and also put together a portfolio of suggestions, examples and possible "Lessons" which you could give.
