Dont feel downhearted about your interview this morning, those who interview understand how nerve-racking it is and you probably didnt do as bad as you think. There's no point fretting about it - just relax and wait until they let you know.
If you do not get the job, dont worry - every interview you go on is experience, you say you think you should have made more of your abilities.....well make sure you take your own advice and talk about them in future interviews. Make sure you give examples - there is no point talking about how you can do this and that when you cant back it up with examples.
Another bit of advice I would give is be confident - even if you are nervous, make sure you walk in with your head up and smile and shake their hands, this is a great start and you come across really well. And believe in yourself, if you sound like you may have doubts about doing the job it will show to them. Wearing a suit or something smart is also a good idea, no matter what sort of job you are applying for, although I am sure you know that.
Also, if you dont get a job, ask for some feedback from those that gave the interview. They will let you know where you could have done better but also where you did well. This will help for future interviews.
Good luck for any future interviews.

Aww Bowieblue, I know how you feel. I had the same thing about an hour ago, although I feel partly it went bad down to the questions, as I wasn't given a chance to tell them about all the good things I've done.
In past experience, interviewers don't mind if you take a chance to think of the answers you're going to give. So if your mind goes blank, just take a deep breath and think about the answer first. This has always worked for me, as I tend to find it difficult to sell myself.
