im wantin to join the raf, however i need two levels, i started my a levels when i left school but droped out as i wasnt enjoyin it. is it possible to do alevels in one year or does it have to be two?
I did extra A-levels when I was working to get into university. As I was working full-time I did them in the evening, and got better grades doing them that way than I did at school. I did one a year, as I was also doing quite a bit of training for sport at the same time. You may have a bit of limitation on your subjects, I did Law and Politics, one two hour class per week. Ask at your local colege.
Some colleges offer open learning, so if they have tutors who are willing to be flexible, you can do a'levels as quickly as you can cover the syllabus. I chose to do an access course - 1 year long - which was recognised at university as being a'level equivalent.
But watch fees - if you attend college "full-time" you shouldn't have to pay, but if you do open learning there may be a fee involved.
Think this is right. Good luck!
