why is it so difficult to get a apprentiship when they are saying there is a shotage

I think it's going to become like many other jobs where you need to pay for your own training before anybody will give you a job.

and because the JIB (the grading body for sparks) is intent on making it so difficult to become qualified by moving the goal posts. Total *******! i've been a spark for 8 years and these ******* change the rules so i have to do another �500 course! If you were to go it alone your qualifications would cost you over �4000.
