Can anybody please explain the tax situation etc, of doing freelance work while working full time? I'm hoping to do freelance work full time once I've got a good client base. However, if I'm offered any work while I work full time for a company, I don't know what the tax/employment situation would be.

Any info/advice would be gratefully received.

Many thanks.

The best advice would be given by the tax office. Tell them exactly what you want to do. I'm sure that as long as you declare your earnings all be be Okay on the tax front. I don't know what kind of contract you have with your current employer though.
