Following on from Kazzianne's great thread earlier, (would have posted on there but think its a bit late now) it got me thinking about how good it would be to get into (something i have previously been interested in but never given too much thought) even if just to make a bit extra cash at the weekends it would be a fulfilling job! anyway i've been looking into it after Loobies post, and i was wondering what your thoughts were on paying for these on line courses? would it be better to try find a college style course or go with the internet ones or would they be a scam to get money out of people? i found one that was going for 100 not much i know but was thinking you know how they tell you not to spend money on model agencies do you think this is similar or not?

Sorry if this is a bit long winded!

I've recently been thinking exactly the same thing, wanting to get into something that i've been interested in, so i'm going to train as a Nail Technician. I can't go for college courses cos I commute to London and work full time, but I've found one on-line which looked really good and you do it all from home. I was wary like you, but I reckon I'm just gonna go for it anyways!!

At the end of the day, you'll only spend 100 and even if it isn't that good, surely you'll get something from it?

You get what you pay for, I doubt a 100 course will launch a new career but it is a start.

Hi caz, It might sound glamorous, but believe me it is far from that,my sister did some work for one part time, one of the jobs she had was to follow someone to Thailand because the wife thought her husband was having a bit of fun when on buisiness trips,he was but it turned out to ruin the husband and wifes lives, because of what he was doing out there,it also upset my sister, having to stay in a hotel packed with Brits & germans who were there to get off with young boys & girls,it can be a sickening job, If you are really keen why not ask a local one to how you go about a career in it,I think most of them are ex police officers,I would think carefully though, Good luck, take care, Ray
Hi caz - im only online for ten mins more, but wanted to say that yeh, yesterday got me thinking too that it could be a good little money earner if you only did say within a set distance from your home.x
forgot to say - the guy I hired was an ex-police officer.x
