An interesting question because I had always assumed there was no copyright on it, but there is - look here.

I'm aware of many people and places who use it (presumably illegally) - and it is reproduced in the original Meridith-Belbin book that was published over 20 years ago. This website will allow you to run the test for one person and receive the 'score' for �25, which is probably about the same price as buying the book. They've tinkered with the model over the years and added a couple more roles (these aren't in the original book). But you really need to buy the book to understand more about interpretation. As with all of these management consultancy type indicators, their best application is in conjunction with a skilled facilitator who works outside the group/team but helps the group to understand each other better.
