Smelly Microwave Ovens
2 Answers
I'm not sure if I've put this in the right section, but here goes. Our microwave at work has died. Quite a few of us used it but the partners in the firm are reluctant to buy a new one because they say the smells that emanate aren't good when we've got clients in the office. I haven't noticed that my microwave at home doesn't give off smells; why does the office one? You can smell when people have been cooking; is this just because it drifts up to the different floors in the office? Please help!

I think the smell of fish and chips bought in from outside would cause as much smell though. And those snack- pot meals really do smell disgusting as soon as the hot water is added.
Perhaps it could be agreed that hot food of any description is only bought into the offices or re-heated during specified times, in a designated area.
